Undershepherd is easy to use, even if you have existing software that holds your member data!
1. Automatic ChMS Import
Undershepherd is the perfect companion tool if you’re using Church Management Software (ChMS) to store your member data. [insert article here].
Currently Undershepherd integrates with Planning Center and Breeze ChMS and we’re working on creating Integrations for other platforms.
To integrate with your ChMS, go to Account > Data Import & Integrations > and then select the Integration that you would like to use. For instance, if using Planning Center, select “Planning Center” as seen below:
2. CSV Import
Whether you already have your member data in a CSV or Excel file, or you are using a platform we don’t currently support for automatic import, CSV import is a great option.
To import via CSV, go to Account > Data Import & Integrations > and then select Import from CSV as seen below:
That will take you to a form where you can upload the CSV file:
Once you submit the form, your data will appear in your account within a few hours and you will receive an email when the import is complete.
3. No Import
It’s not uncommon for a church to not be using anything at all for their member data. If that’s you, no worries at all! Undershepherd can be a place where you safely store your member data and make sure everything is updated in a secure, central place. See our tutorial on how to add people manually to Undershepherd and you’ll have your member data on Undershepherd in no time!
